WELCOME TO FULL CIRCLE

Providing specialised therapy and psychological support for life’s changes

At Full Circle Psychology, we look at the complete picture of what’s shaping your experience, working with symptoms, root causes and systemic factors.

Your struggles don't happen in isolation. Your wellbeing and mental health is shaped by factors like hormones, relationships, sleep, support, nutrition, workplace pressures and societal expectations about how you "should" be managing. Instead of only focusing on individual coping strategies, we also address what’s behind your struggles, working with other specialists to provide holistic care.

We specialise in supporting people through major life transitions, from pregnancy and parenthood, through perimenopause and beyond. We also provide care for anxiety, depression and other physical and mental health concerns.

THE FULL CIRCLE APPROACH

We take a holistic approach to wellbeing, addressing both individual factors and the broader systems that influence perinatal and women's health experiences.

  • Understanding your personal experiences and how they connect with your broader environment, support structures, family, work environment, community and society

  • Recognising that growth moves in natural and sometimes unpredictable rhythms and patterns rather than straight lines, with each phase connecting to others

  • Supporting your physical wellbeing and emotional health as interconnected parts of your complete experience

  • Bringing together disconnected parts of your experience and helping you develop a more integrated understanding and sense of self

  • Developing skills and strategies from current challenges that you can use to handle similar situations in the future

Kia ora, I’m Lydia - welcome to Full Circle Psychology.

As a registered psychologist and mother of two boys, I've created a practice that supports women and parents through some of life's most significant transitions.

My approach recognises that your experiences don't happen in isolation. Whether navigating motherhood, perimenopause, endometriosis, anxiety or other difficulties, your wellbeing is shaped by a wide range of factors. Rather than seeing struggles as personal shortcomings, I help you understand these interconnected factors, shifting from: "what's wrong with me?" to: “what’s happening around me?” and “what do I need to heal?”.
